What's in a Name?

lib·er·tine (pronounced lib-ur-teen) n.
1. One who acts without moral restraint; a dissolute person.
2. One who defies established religious precepts; a freethinker.

  I've always admired those who make up their own minds and opinions. In turn I've always tried to do the same. I felt that this site name best represents who I am.

History

  I started webdesigning at a very young age. At age nine I opened up my first free site on expages.com. I guess this was an early sort of blog before I knew what it was. It was built using a pagemaker and was mostly circulated between me, my friends, and family. I started getting really into neopets at age 11 and opened up several "webbies" filled with crappy graphics and dolls on geocities. Eventually I grew tired of that site and began to mature. I branched away from neopets onto other personal sites and was inspired to make my own. Eventually I was hosted and had a site full of non-neopets related content including tutorials and graphics. For the two years following that I cycled through plenty of personal sites, folios, and other miscellaneous projects. Midway through my freshman year of high school I grew tired of webdesign and decided to close my sites. Now, three years later, I'm back with The Libertine, hosted by the lovely Kelsey!

Description: This was my first layout in a couple years so I was kinda rusty. I was inspired to create this while I was listening to the song which shares the name of this layout (This Weather by Patrick Wolf). I wasn't too fond of this one but it was good enough.
